Craigslist Robber Changes Plea in Rape and Robbery Case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man already serving 50 years in prison has changed his guilty plea on a rape charge.

19 year old Tahj Thomas pleaded guilty to raping and robbing a woman outside her southeast side apartment in July. But according to the Journal-Gazette, Thomas said his family forced him to change his guilty plea, which also made his plea agreement he made with prosecutors disappear.

Thomas will now stand trial on his rape and robbery charges in October. He's already serving 50 years in prison for targeting people buying or selling items via Craigslist for robberies.
