FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Firefighters are on the scene of a fire caused by a natural gas leak at Meyer Creek Antiques on Huffman near Sherman. Nipsco is also on scene, trying to control the leak.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department says six homes have been evacuated, impacting about 16 people. Crews have been on the scene since about 5:30. You are asked to avoid the area of Sherman and Huffman until the fire is under control.
