FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a fire at the Tall Oaks Apartments at around 11 a.m. Monday morning.

Smoke was seen pouring out of a fourth floor apartment according to our Partners in News at ABC 21.

Firefighters say the person inside was able to get out safely. The fire began in the kitchen and spread to the hallway.

No one was hurt.
