FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An accident involving a car and motorcycle has left one man in critical condition.

Fort Wayne police responded to the accident Sunday afternoon on east Coliseum Boulevard near the entrance to the Northcrest Shopping Center.

Once on scene officers found a man down in the entrance of the Northcrest Shopping Center suffering from multiple injuries. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was found to be in critical condition. The man and woman in the car refused medical treatment at the scene.

According to police, the motorcyclist was westbound on Coliseum when the car made a left turn driving directly into the path of the motorcyclist.

Investigators don’t think drugs or alcohol are a factor in this incident. In the meantime, police are still investigating.
