WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) _ Purdue University president and former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels will receive a $250,000 Bradley Prize from the Milwaukee-based Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation.
 
  The foundation announced Thursday that Daniels will receive the award during a June 12 ceremony at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The prizes recognize accomplishments that strengthen American institutions. Three remaining 2013 winners will be announced in the coming weeks.
 
  The announcement says Daniels “established himself as an economic reformer” who guided Indiana through the recession with a budget surplus and a “firm foundation for economic growth.” 
 
  Previous winners include former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former Attorney General Edwin Meese and conservative commentator George Will.
