Dense Fog Delays Some Indiana School Openings

KOKOMO, Ind. (AP): Some rural school districts in central and northern Indiana have delayed openings because of dense fog across much of the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for most of the northwestern quarter of Indiana until 10 a.m. Monday. The weather service is warning of visibilities of a quarter mile or less in some locations.

A handful of school districts in the area from around Lafayette through the Kokomo area to near Fort Wayne announced two-hour delays for Monday.
