WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana DNR is asking you to slow down on rough waters.

Director Cameron Clark says due to hazardous high water conditions on the Barbee Chain of Lakes, an emergency order has been issued to restrict motorboats to only idle speed. The only watercraft exempt from the order are those operated by local, state or federal law enforcement, as well as emergency personnel.

This order remains in effect until the director terminates it.
