Indiana State Police Looking For Regional Dispatcher



BRISTOL, Ind. (WOWO): Applications are now being accepted for a civilian Regional Dispatcher with the Indiana State Police.

To qualify, the person must be a high school graduate or possess the equivalent GED. They also must be able to pass a written and typing test prior to the interview. The dispatch is located at the Toll Road Post in Bristol.

Two years of experience in public safety communication field is preferred. Those interested should be able to:

•Work on several tasks simultaneously in a busy and noisy environment
•Remain seated for long periods of time
•Remain calm during emergency situations
•Work rotating or multiple shifts, requiring weekends and/or holidays
