Driver Injured in DeKalb County Crash

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A driver is currently in fair condition after losing control of their vehicle on I-69 in DeKalb County.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the driver was heading south near the 339 mile marker when the driver lost control. The vehicle rolled several times and eventually came to a rest on the driver’s side, before catching on fire. According to police, a passerby with a fire extinguisher was able to put out the fire before it spread.

The driver was taken to the hospital with a possible broken arm and several other injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor, but the incident is still under investigation.
