A man is dead after drowning in the Salamonie Reservoir yesterday afternoon. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Jordan Laute of Marion drowned yesterday after he swam past the roped barrier. Because drowning victims can look as if they are playing in the water, people around did not realize the man was drowning. Emergency crews arrived to the scene around 3:20 P.M.
