Drug Raid on Thompson Avenue

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Three people are facing charges after a drug raid at a Fort Wayne home.

After a lengthy investigation, Fort Wayne police officers and several drug enforcement agencies served a search warrant at 2014 Thompson Avenue. Once crews were inside the residence, they found over 100 Grams of synthetic cannabinoid (Spice) in the upstairs bedroom.

Subsequently, police arrested 31-year-old David Koker and 22-year-old Heather Bays. Koker was charged with four counts of dealing in a look alike drug and one count of Maintaining a Common Nuisance. Bays was charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance along with James Robinson who also lives at 2014 Thompson.

The house was also condemned due to several violations. Since the dwelling was inhabited by three dogs and a cat Fort Wayne Animal Control took possession of the pets. The incident is still under investigation.
