FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): East Allen County Schools board members are hoping for lower fuel prices so the district will have a lower annual fee to run buses and other vehicles.

According to the Journal Gazette, the bids will be accepted next Tuesday and the school will lock in fuel prices on November 3rd. 

Business Manager Kirby Stahly told the Journal Gazette bid prices will likely be lower than the 2014 price of unleaded gasoline and bio-diesel fuels. The district typically uses between 16,000 to 24,000 gallons every year.
