Elderly Man Robbed in Home Invasion


FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An elderly Fort Wayne man was the victim of a home invasion robbery.

It happened early Monday morning on Knoll Road near Ardmore when three people bound his arms and legs with duct tape. According to our partners in news, 21Alive, the man was held up at gun point and then later given scissors to cut himself free.  

The man, 85-year-old Kenneth Miller had his wallet stolen. The bandits also made off with jewelry and collectible coins. One of the robbers threatened to kill the man.

One suspect is described as a 23-year-old white man standing about 5-foot-8, weighing 160 pounds. A second suspect is believed to be a white male, standing about six-foot-tall and wearing black clothing. A description of the third suspect was not available.
