PIONEER, Ohio. (WOWO): An elderly woman from Pioneer, Ohio is dead following a Saturday afternoon crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that a van was heading eastbound on U.S. 20 at Lakeshore Drive near Pioneer, Ohio at around 4 p.m. Saturday. The van rear-ended a car in front of it, causing it to cross the center line and side-swipe a pickup going the other way. The car ended up going off the road and overturning.

Sheila Sharp, 73, was the driver of the car. She passed away after being flown to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo. The driver of the van is in stable condition, and the people in the pickup weren’t hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
