ELKHART, Ind. (AP) _ A northern Indiana middle school teacher accused of secretly video recording boys showering in a school locker room has been formally charged with 13 felony counts.
The Elkhart Truth reports 33-year-old James Iannarelli was charged Friday with six counts of child exploitation and other charges. He has been placed on administrative leave from his job as West Side Middle School teacher and Elkhart Memorial High School wrestling coach. Court records do not indicate Iannarelli has hired an attorney.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Iannarelli told police he had been secretly recording boys showering for his own sexual gratification for four years.

If convicted on all counts, Iannarelli faces up to 73 years in prison. He is scheduled to appear for an initial hearing Thursday.
