FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Investigators say speed may have contributed to Friday night motorcycle crash on the city's South West Side.

The motorcycle was headed north on Ardmore Avenue around 8:10 p.m., when the driver lost control near Elmhurst High School.

He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition after being found unresponsive at the scene.  Its not clear if he was wearing a helmet.

The driver's name has not been released.
