Expert: Lack of Immigration Reform Creates Issues

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): An Indiana attorney says stalled immigration reform is contributing to a growing underclass, subculture and black market in America. Immigration attorney Jenifer Brown says Congress hasn‘t truly addressed immigration reform for more than a decade.

As a result, Brown says the U.S. could be looking at least four generations of undocumented people across the nation. She says lack of action has also created a backlog when it comes to processing green cards, work visas and other administrative issues.

She says this is also affecting the U.S. marketplace and economy. Brown says Congress could address these issues directly, but still hasn‘t. She says for the immediate term, immigration appears to be dead or uncertain at best.
