FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two adults and three children are safe after a house fire early Sunday evening on Alexander Street. When firefighters arrived around 6:16, they found smoke coming from the front of the home.

It took about 8 minutes to control the blaze. A family cat was rescued. The home has moderate smoke and fire damage.
