FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Tuesday afternoon, the United States Attorney's Office announced an indictment following the recent arrest of a convicted felon. A Grand Jury sitting in Fort Wayne, returned the Indictment on December 17, 2014.

The single count Indictment charges 21-year-old Javon Burnett, of Fort Wayne, with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm on or about September 30, 2014. It also seeks forfeiture. 

The charge was filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Fort Wayne Police Department.
