First concerts announced at Clyde Theatre

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The first round of concerts for the restored Clyde Theatre were announced Tuesday.

Fitz & The Tantrums, Chase Rice and George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic highlight the first round of concerts, which will begin with Stone Sour on May 16. Tickets for most shows go on sale Friday, March 2nd at 10 a.m. at clydetheatre.com.

The theatre, which is in Quimby Village just southwest of downtown, is a former movie theater that now has a main concert hall with 2,150 general admission seats.

The renovation was spearheaded by Sweetwater.

The venue will also be available for community activities and special events on non-concert days.
