Emergency services are responding to reports of a body found in the Maumee River at the Tecumseh Street Bridge, according to our partners in news at ABC 21.

Firefighters, police and the Allen County Coroner’s Office are on the scene.

Reports say a pontoon boat from The Deck at The Gas House detached overnight and crashed into the Tecumseh Street Bridge.

In an unrelated event, a body was pulled from a pond at Lakeside Park Thursday morning.

This comes after reports of a fisherman seen onshore Wednesday night, but when crews arrived to the scene, he could not be found.

It is unclear at this time whether the reported fisherman is related to the body found.

The Allen County Coroner’s office is at the scene.
