ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A former inmate is suing three employees at the Adams County Jail for sexual assault.

23-year-old Miranda Roberts filed a lawsuit last week in U.S. District Court in Fort Wayne after accusing a Adams County Jail employee of raping her earlier this year.

Roberts was held in the Decatur prison last October for drug charges.

In the lawsuit, Roberts says she was four seperate times by a confinement officer.

She is also suing two other prison employees for failing to train the confinement officer, for which Roberts said, eventually led to the sexual assault.
