HAMMON, Ind (WOWO): A former northwest Indiana teacher has been charged after officials discovered he had been persuading female students to sext him.

Jon Erik Lilly was arrested Wednesday on federal charges and is scheduled in court Friday. He allegedly talked 4 underage girls into sexting him while he taught at Morton High School in Hammond.

One mother believes her daughter was also engaging in sexual relations with the 27-year-old man.
