WABASH, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana State Police arrested a former Wabash City Wastewater Treatment Plant billing clerk Monday for allegedly stealing more than $152,000.

Angelina M. Monroe, 38, of Sharpsville, turned herself into deputies at the Wabash County Jail and was arrested. She is facing felony charges of official misconduct, two theft charges, and one count of corrupt business influence.

An investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Josh Maller alleges that Monroe stole $152,127.54 from September 2013 until May 2017. She reportedly collected fees and misrepresented the amount she collected, keeping the stolen funds for her personal use.

Monroe is held on a $50,000 bond.
