Fort Wayne Man Charged with Attempted Murder

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man is charged with attempted murder.

This morning, 33-year-old Daniel Spells was in court for his initial hearing and was charged with attempted murder.


Spells is accused of shooting at a police officer back in May, after he was tackled and arrested by that same officer, who was praised for not using lethal force against the suspect.  


Spells is being held without bond.
