FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 29-year-old Fort Wayne man was found guilty of murder on Wednesday afternoon.

An Allen County jury found Justin Littlejohn guilty of a single murder charge. Police say he beat 46-year-old Randy Dial to death with a microwave at the Economy Inn on Coliseum Boulevard in December 2015, according to our news partners at 21Alive.

Dial was hospitalized after the attack and died the next day. The Allen County Coroner’s Office said he died from blunt force trauma to the head and ruled the death a homicide.

Detectives say Littlejohn admitted to hitting Dial with a microwave and the glass plate from inside it.

Littlejohn’s trial started on Tuesday.
