FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man was found shot to death near a golf course on Wednesday afternoon.
Anton Javon Moore, 30, died from gunshot wounds. The manner of death was ruled a homicide, according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
At about 8:20 a .m. Wednesday, police were called to the 6400 block of Fairfield Avenue. When crews arrived, they found an unresponsive man down a steep embankment, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is the 43rd homicide victim in Allen County this year.
