Fort Wayne man sentenced for bank robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man will serve 71 months in prison after he was sentenced for bank robbery Friday.

Byron Curry, 42, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Theresa Springmann after he pleaded guilty to bank robbery. Along with his imprisonment, Curry will have one year of supervised release and must pay $1,334 in restitution.

Court documents reveal Curry and two other women, Starr Carter, 25, and Kayla Johnson, 19, robbed a First Source Bank in Fort Wayne back on December 3, 2016.
