Fort Wayne Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Missing, Endangered Teen

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing and endangered 15-year-old girl who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, Dynistye Wright was reported missing after leaving her home sometime between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Investigators said it is unknown what Wright was wearing when she left or what direction she may have traveled.

Wright is described as a Black female, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. She has long black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities believe Wright may be suffering from a mental health crisis, increasing concerns for her safety. Family members and friends have not seen or heard from her since she left home.

Anyone who sees Wright or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department immediately by calling 911 or (260) 427-1222.

Police continue to investigate and are asking community members to remain vigilant and share information that could assist in locating the missing teen.
