FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 17-year-old Fort Wayne teen accused of murder will be in court next week.
Kevin Hamilton is preliminary charged with murder, felony murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and using a firearm in commission of a crime, according to our news partners in 21Alive. His initial hearing scheduled for Monday, Sept. 12.
He’s accused of shooting Brian Quintana to death on Aug. 14. Another juvenile was arrested in connection to the shooting, but police haven’t released his name because of his age. Hamilton will be tried as an adult.

Police believe the two teens tried to steal marijuana from Quintana, according to court documents. Hamilton told police he shot Quintana because the other teen told him to.
The victim told police Hamilton shot him before he died, according to documents.
