21st Annual BBQ RibFest – Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17, 11:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. daily
Enjoy brisket, ribs, pulled pork, rib sandwiches, BBQ chicken, and more from several local vendors! Also check out live party blues music on the Coors Light main stage.
Admission: Free until 5:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, $6 evenings; $3 all day Sunday

Bootcamp Fridays at Parkview Field – Friday, June 15 @ 11-11:45 a.m.
Meet at the front entrance of the Central Branch YMCA and jog down to Parkview Field to join-in on a 45-minute bootcamp class.

Historic West Main Street Farmers Market – Friday, June 15 @ 3-8 p.m.

Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo: Zoobilee – Friday, June 15 @ 6-10 p.m.
Zobilee is the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo’s gala event and features a gourmet dinner and cocktails. The event will also include both silent and live auctions. Support the zoo and its mission of connecting kids and animals, strengthening families and inspiring people to care at this year’s Zoobilee.

Friday Nites Live – Summer Concert Series – Friday, June 15 @ 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Each participant will receive Riverfront swag, and a snack and drink at the end of the outing. You may bring your own kayak or canoe, or rent one for an additional $15.

Historic Southside Farmer’s Market – Saturday, June 16 @ 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Seasonal and locally-grown vegetables, hormone-free meat and eggs, heirloom herbs, flowers and vegetable plants, baked goods, jams, teas, cut flowers, handcrafted jewelry, soap, crafts, books, dishes, antiques, and an old-fashioned lunch counter. Live music provided mid-morning.

Fort Wayne Swap Meet 3rd Saturdays – Saturday, June 16 @ 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
This county-wide sale includes 128 vendors, and takes place rain or shine. Vendors can purchase a rental space for $15, and must be set-up by 7 a.m.

Cars and Coffee – Saturday, June 16 @ 9-11 a.m.

YLNI Farmer’s Market – Saturday, June 16 @ 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Garden Walk and Plant Sale – Saturday, June 16 @ 12-2:30 p.m.
The Garden Walk is FREE to attend. Master Gardener volunteers are available to guide guests, provide fun activities and answer questions. The Plant Sale offers a wide assortment of plants including annuals, perennials, and indoor plants. Local vendors also offer DIY air plant terrariums, garden art, honey from Glenn’s Natural Honey, locally grown produce, essential oils, native plans from Riverview Native Nursery, and Three Rivers Fruit Growers Club.

14th Annual Juneteenth Celebration – Saturday, June 16 @ 2-6 p.m.
Enjoy this outdoor family-friendly festival featuring a variety of local performances, a live band concert, bounce houses and other fun activities. Food and merchandise will be for sale, but the event also includes free hot dogs and popcorn. In the event of rain, performances will be held inside the Weisser Park Youth Center auditorium.

Chase Rice – Saturday, June 16 @ 7 p.m.
Enjoy country music this Saturday as Chase Rice takes the stage at Clyde Theatre. The American country music singer, songwriter and reality TV personality co-wrote the single “Cruise” performed by Florida Georgia Line. He released the EP Ready Set Roll, featuring the single by the same name, in October of 2013. The full-length album Ignite the Night debuted #1 on Billboard Top Country Albums.

30th Annual Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN – Saturday, June 16 @ 7-9:45 p.m.
Hundreds of people will come to Johnny Appleseed Park for fun and games, and to watch the plastic ducks plash into the St. Joseph River and “paddle” their way to the finish line. Each plastic duck represents a raffle number, and the top 25 ducks will win cash and prizes. Proceeds from the event support SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect).
