Fort Wayne woman was strangled to death in April

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):A Fort Wayne woman found in her apartment in April was strangled to death.

Jacqueline Vanduyn died from asphyxia due to strangulation and suffocation. The Allen County Coroner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.

Vanduyn was found dead inside her apartment in the 7900 block of Decatur Road on April 25.
This homicide is still under investigation. She is the 16th homicide victim in Allen County this year.
