Fort Wayne Woman Wins Big at Speedway

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne woman claimed a $392,410 Hoosier Lottery prize in Indianapolis on Friday. Hoosier Lottery officials say Jane Tomson won the prize when her Cash 5 ticket ended up being worth nearly four hundred thousand dollars in the January 31st drawing.

The Allen County woman characterized winning as “surreal” and said it took a while for the reality of her win to sink in.

Tomson is a small business owner and is of retirement age, but she has no plans to walk away from the business she owns with her husband.  Instead, she plans to put the money in the bank and let it work for her in the long run.

Tomson purchased her winning ticket at the Speedway located at 6033 W. Jefferson Boulevard in Fort Wayne.
