Fort Wayne’s Largest Festival Is In Trouble

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — The Three Rivers Festival may file bankruptcy within the next week if organizers can’t get it on more solid financial footing.

21Alive reports that the Festival needs 300-thousand dollars in funding by February 10 to avoid bankruptcy.

A crowdfunding campaign is now underway to raise an overall 450-thousand dollars so that planning this year’s Festival can get underway.

Officials say that construction in the area and relocation of the Junk Food Alley led to the event not living up to expectations.

If organizers can’t get things back on track financially – the Three Rivers Festival may become a thing of the past.
