Four Warsaw Residents Escape House Fire Tuesday Night

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Four people had to escape a burning home in northwest Warsaw Tuesday night. 

According to the fire department, the fire on Oriole Drive started in the garage attached to the home and spread into the home’s attic and living room. 

The homeowner was treated for smoke inhalation, but was cleared by paramedics at the scene. There were no other injuries. The Red Cross helped the residents with lodging.

A car in the garage and pickup truck in the driveway were damaged. 

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
