FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Christmas has come and gone, and many are now looking to remove their Christmas trees from their homes.
Allen County’s free Christmas tree recycling program has returned, offering several dropoff locations around the county.
The program will run through January 16.
All ornaments, tinsel and plastic bags must be removed before dropping off the tree, and wreaths, garlands and artificial trees are NOT accepted.
The City also states that trees wil not be collected as part of regular trash pickup.
