The Indiana State Bar Association is hosting “Talk to a Lawyer Today” at the Allen County Library in Fort Wayne (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), the LaFontaine Center in Huntington (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and the Carnegie Public Library in Angola (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
It's a pro bono program that gives free legal advice to the underserved as a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.
Attorneys from all across the state will be available for a free legal consultations for 10 to 15 minutes.
If you can't make it in-person, a local hotline will also be available by calling 260-407-0917 or 877-407-0917 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A statewide hotline for both English and Spanish-speaking callers will be available by calling 1-800-266-2581 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
