FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person is currently in serious condition after a Friday night shooting. According to our partners in news at 21Alive, Fort Wayne Police were called to the intersection of Smith and Emily Streets, near the Pontiac Mall, on reports of shots being fired just before 9:00 p.m., Friday.

Once police arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was last reported in serious condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
