FWCS proposes new football stadium at Snider

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Snider’s football program might actually get to play varsity games on their home territory.

The Fort Wayne Community Schools board introduced a $30-million-dollar project that would construct a new stadium on the Snider campus.

The proposal includes a 4,000 seat venue with a turf field and rubber running track, which would be multi-use for football, soccer, track, and marching band.

The Snider tennis courts would move to Lane Middle School, to make way for more parking at the proposed site.
