FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is hoping you can help identify an armed robbery suspect caught on camera.

Police say a black man in a black hooded sweat shirt came into the Family Dollar on Bluffton Road Monday night just before 9pm, pulled out a handgun, and demanded cash from a clerk working at one of the store’s registers.

After he emptied the register, the man tied him and another employee up at the back of the store using zip ties before escaping on foot.

Anyone with information that can lead to the suspect’s identity and arrest is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867).
