Governor Pence Directing Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Governor Mike Pence is directing flags at state facilities to be flown at half-staff and is asking businesses and residents likewise to lower their flags  to half-staff tomorrow in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day. The day honors federal, state, and local officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. President Obama signed a proclamation ordering flags across the country to be flown at half-staff. Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Thursday.
