GREENWOOD, Ind. (AP) – A central Indiana high school girls golf coach has resigned after Indianapolis police say they caught him having sex with an underage girl in a parked truck.
The Greenwood Community School Corp. says 36-year-old Tim Guilfoy resigned on Sunday, a day after his arrest. The school district's website says he was a physical education teacher, head girls golf coach and coordinator for intramural sports.
Indianapolis Metro Police Lt. Chris Bailey says Guilfoy faces two preliminary charges of child seduction.
Bailey says officers investigating a suspicious vehicle asked the driver to roll down his window and found Guilfoy completely nude. Guilfoy told the officers he and the girl were having sex.
Guilfoy does not have a published telephone number and he could not be reached for comment.
