Hess to step down as County Prosecutor

ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): Steuben County’s prosecutor announced today he is not seeking re-election in 2014.

Mike Hess says he’s stepping down after 40 years in criminal justice, including 27 in the office.

His deputy prosecutor says he’ll seek the prosecutors’ job. Jeremy Musser announced today he’s seeking election to the position. He has served under the leadership of Tom Wilson and Hess in the prosecutor’s office.
