INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): A leading Hoosier Democrat is blasting Governor Mike Pence and the recent General Assembly Session.

State Senator Tim Lanane (D-Anderson) says the so called “education session” as defined by Pence, is really a lesson in one-party politics.

In an editorial that appears in several Indiana publications, Lanane says GOP's vision for Indiana classrooms is adversarial.

He says despite record increases in school funding, some schools still lost funding. He says the “education as a business” model handcuffs teachers in poor communities.
