I-69 in DeKalb County to be Restricted for Two Weeks Beginning Monday

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that northbound Interstate 69 will be restricted to one lane, from mile marker 326/C.R. 11A to mile marker 329/S.R. 8 in DeKalb County, for two weeks beginning Monday, Oct. 26. The restriction will allow contractors to repair the road and guardrail over Peckhart Ditch.

The driving lane of I-69 northbound will be restricted from 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, through 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30. The following week, the same lane will be restricted at 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, through 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6.

The two-season project, which began in April, will continue next spring with the construction of the northbound bridge over Peckhart Ditch.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through an active work zone.

This $3.1 million project was awarded to Primco.
