Indiana Launches Revamped State Website

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): State officials say the newest versions of Indiana's government websites will be quicker and easier to use.

The Indiana Office of Technology announced Thursday that IN.gov has been revamped to provide better service for mobile users.

The site has received more than 550 million page views in the last year, with mobile use accounting for about 40 percent of the site's total traffic.

Key changes include an improved search function, simplified site navigation, and more information on the home page. The my.IN.gov site will also offer features to personalize the experience for frequent visitors.

Other additions include a Travel Advisory feature, which lists the travel status in each county, and is one of the most accessed sites before and during severe weather.
