Indiana Ranks 41st Nationally in Overall Health

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): A recently released report of America’s Health Rankings ranks Indiana 41st healthiest this year when compared to other states. The report cites high prevalence of obesity and physical inactivity, as well as high levels of air pollution as some of the state's major health challenges.

The report also lists Indiana's health-related strengths, which include low levels of infectious disease, low percentage of child poverty, and high immunization coverage among teens.
