Indiana Reinstates Time Limits for Some Food Stamp Recipients

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Starting next spring, Indiana will start limiting food stamp benefits to thousands of healthy adults without children who fail to get a job or train for work at least 20 hours a week. Those that fall into that category will be limited to no more than three months of benefits during a three-year period. With the new requirement, an estimated 65,000 of the 877,000 Hoosiers receiving food stamps will be impacted.
