**UPDATE** The Indiana Silver Alert has been cancelled as of 7:36 pm Monday night. This cancellation was requested by the Gary Police Department. Mr. Thompson has been located.

GARY, Ind. (WOWO): The Gary Police Department is looking for a man who may be in danger and was last seen Sunday at 6 a.m.

James P. Thompson, 63, is a black man, 5 feet and 9 inches tall, weighs 228 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen in Gary, which is located about 25 miles East of downtown Chicago and . He was last seen wearing a brown “Carhart” jacket with a hood, black shoes and black baseball cap.

Thompson may be disoriented and require medial attention.
