Indianapolis-area man dies after tree falls on him





WESTFIELD, Ind. (AP): Fire officials say an 81-year-old central Indiana man was cleaning debris from a tree that had partially fallen because of high winds was killed when the rest of the tree fell on him.





The Indianapolis Star reports Westfield Fire Chief Joe Lyons said the man was found near his house Friday. The man's name was not released because authorities were still trying to contact his family.





WRTV-TV reports the man was carrying a chainsaw, but it was not on at the time.
